I cry for her,
I cried for her,
She lied in her hospital bed,
With bandages over her eyes,
Her heart beat was slow,
Every breath hurt,
She longed for her addiction,
But tried so hard to resist,
She was a sister to me,
Family,
Whenever she was up she tried to reassure me,
Everything will be alright,
I'll be fine,
You'll see,
At first I actually believed her,
But then everything went wrong,
After one last hug,
And one last goodbye,
She was gone,
Everything was silent,
I heard crying from inside and out,
I blamed myself,
I blamed her boyfriend,
I blamed that invitation,
I blamed that party,
I blamed that girl,
I blamed everything,
But I blame,
Drugs,

I Am.
I am the silhouetted figure standing alone in the dead yellow glow of the single street lamp's flickering, dying light. The cold wind blows the debris along the cracked street, shifting the image but not the feeling. No one will fix it. No one is even here. I stand alone keeping company to the tiny, hopeful sprouts emerging from the long jagged cracks in the ancient cement, starting their lives in the place that others have died. I stay with them, watching over them to make sure their tranquil growth is not disturbed. Neither of us have anywhere else to go, so why not stay? Every second spent is not wasted because it is spent doing something.

Who Knew
The curtain's close, and the colors fade.
Made holes around my faith. It's the day.
My dying day. You and I no longer speak
Of dreams we've come to make.
who knew it came to this
The fires breath only seem warmer the night before.
When the shady trees came together to watch the ties
Form around our souls. For both of us to hold.
The dew drips on our moon drop pallet's.
It tickles our toes and our tenderness begins
To show. Such a fickle moment. Such a dire
Time spending on a thread about to break.
who knew it would.
We embrace and part ways, only to rise
With the sun and yet again become one.
who knew we wouldn't.
The basking

Jacelyn Who Never Smiles
Jacelyn who never smiles
Suffers through the endless trials
Of a rotting candyland
Crumbling to collapse like sand.
Jacelyn with skin so pale,
Never slips the slightest wail
As she watches dreams so bright
Mottle, rust, and lose their light.
Jacelyn with eyes so dim,
Who did cause your world to spin?
Who brought down their mighty hand:
A father, mother, or a friend?
Jacelyn who sheds no tears,
Why don't you vocalize your fears?
Anything just to forget
The wailing echo of regret.
Jacelyn with heart so bruised,
It hurts to know that you've been used,
Beaten, thrown upon the floor,
Broken, down into the core.
Jacelyn no soul

about a day ago i heard one of the sadest stoires ever. and had to make a poem about it. although this is not exactly how it was told, i like how this came out. I always try to make things serious when it comes to drugs, acholol and smoke. Fore that's how many of my family went. Or just what they do all the time, thankfully my dad and mom don;t smoke.
i hope you like it and understand that drugs are bad!!! Comments and favs, accepted!!!
also, this [link] is connected to this one and this one [link] Spoken by the same person a girl named Jesse, who i made to help uncourge kids to not do drugs.
